Dr. Franks has been in the Mental Health/Substance Abuse and corporate business field for thirty years. She has held positions as Chief Operations Officer, Clinical Director and Supervisor of Mental Health facilities, multiple treatment facilities, dual diagnosis programs and forensic services through the Palm Beach County drug and family court system, recidivism housing/family reunification, reintegration programs, and crisis interventionist. Dr. Franks has a PhD and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor for the state of Florida. She has extensive training and experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance dependence settings. Debra was a controller, manager, accountant and bookkeeper for multiple corporate companies. She possesses executive leadership skills in the corporate realm as well as the clinical field. She has been an adjunct professor teaching leadership, organizational skills, communication, psychology and clinical training to students. Her clinical specializations include being part of a community mobile crisis team, crisis interventions, addictions, dual diagnosis, severe mental health diagnosis, trauma, eating disorders and personality disorders. Debra specializes in treating the trauma and underlying troubles to assist and lead clients to make healthier choices and decisions that will positively impact their life. Dr. Franks currently utilizes her experience and skills to assist treatment providers to meet their clinical documentation requirements, provide support services for facilities and their staff, participate in on-site DCF visits, monitor workflow for quality and accuracy, and assist and fill in with staffing and clinical needs to assure optimum outcomes.
